Film & TV Language: Sound video and LR

1) Type up your feedback from your teacher.

toy story image gets a good reaction-always a good sign that contrapuntal sound is used effectively. the switch to parallel  also clear and the selection of images that follow suit the music perfectly

technically the editing is slow-each image is on screen for quite a long time. the latch of movement on the images also slows the sense of pace too

2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback.

www

-really strong beginning like the take on contrapuntal project

-images matched very well

ebi

-pacing was slow for the song

-duration of clips a bit too long

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' (EBI) underneath the rest of your feedback.

i believe my www was having an reaction from the audience which made it clear that i did the task well and i used images that matched and didn't match the sound however i could of made the pace of the pictures faster to match the beat of the song

4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video?

i believe the top 3 was jibrils riyas and viruash. I believe they got the best reaction from the audience as everyone either had there jaw dropped or was laughing in a nervous way. i believe that from the reaction of the audience you can tell whether it had an effect on the audience and they did

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?

it is a key factor to set the vibe of the scene and it projects on the audiences reaction and can make a serious scene a funny scene.
