1.what do you think the film is about and what might the story line be? the buildings don't look real and look like space ships or extreme buildings and the guy with a serious face looks like he is the main character and the female with him looks like he is his assistant 2.what genre(s) do you think the film belongs to? i believe that this is sci-fi /thriller as the buildings or spaceships seen in the poster give off that it has sci fi . however the name the blade runner gives a sense of thriller  3.who do you think is the target audience? i believe this is for older teens and adults as a cigarette is shown being smoked in the girls hand which would not be in a movie for a young audience furthermore more the blade runner suggest that there way be violence being shown. 1.what do you think the film is about and what might the story line be? i think that this is a parody of horror movies turned into a funny version instead of scary you can see this in the mocking of the costumes whi

Film & TV Language: Sound video and LR

1) Type up your feedback from your teacher. toy story image gets a good reaction-always a good sign that contrapuntal sound is used effectively. the switch to parallel  also clear and the selection of images that follow suit the music perfectly  technically the editing is slow-each image is on screen for quite a long time. the latch of movement on the images also slows the sense of pace too 2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback. www -really strong beginning like the take on contrapuntal project  -images matched very well ebi -pacing was slow for the song  -duration of clips a bit too long 3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' (EBI) underneath the rest of your feedback.  i believe my www was having an reaction from the audience which made it clear that i did the task well and

  1) Still image analysis Identify examples of  high  and  low-key  lighting. lowkey high key Say which depict  top ,  back  or  under lighting the high key  picture is top lighting  as the light is coming from above like the sun. the lowkey one is back lighting as it is a bit darker on their faces and there is a strong light coming from behind  What  effects  are created by the lighting in each image?      the high key one has an natural sunny day effect where the sun is shinning on them causing a shadow . the lowkey one had back lighting which makes their faces darker which suggest that there is trouble behind them like and explosion. 2) Film noir research  - film noir heavily focuses on lowkey lighting -this causes an uncanny, mysterious atmosphere and vibe for the audience -they tend to use a contrast of lighting creating shadows to add onto the atmosphere - they also use a certain brighter lighting for flashback scenes -involves hard and hash lighting 3) Film noir YouTube clip ana

Film & TV Language: Mise-en-scene feedback and learner response

firstly I didn't edit in adobe so this meant that my scene was a little bit less developed than others. I didn't have an tittle and an ending slide like others did which again i would get marks off because I didn't edit it properly. this lead me to have issues uploading it to YouTube which meant I couldn't get it marked properly. another issue I had was as I filmed it portrait it lead me to have issues with uploading it to YouTube as it only allowed me to upload it as an YouTube short and not an actual YouTube video.  i believe that my camera angle was good however it would of been better if it would of filmed in portrait. the lighting is a key factor of an mise en scene as it makes the scene look together, I believe that my lighting was good as I used an flash light at an downwards angle to show recreate the scenery as she was trying to make a home recorded video which is recorded in the dark with a flashlight. I believe my costuming was ok as i used a beanie as she w
