Cinematography: blog analysis tasks

 1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence. Highlight your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons.

the shots are all high angled to showing that it is cctv kind of shot. there's multiple different types of cctv shots showing the violence, some show close ups of the violent acts and some are from a further angle making it an long shot. there's multiple different types of shots however their is no close up shots which give a sense that it is so violent that it is too harmful and dangerous to be near it. this scares the audience

2) How does the camerawork give the audience clues about the setting, narrative and character?
it gives the audience a sense of danger as if the camera cant be close as it is too violent and some cameras have too zoom in showing again how it is too unsafe to be near the the scene at all. its held at a still place and has multiple different shots(clips) this all give the audience a perspective that it is too violent to be near to scene and would feel quite scared and uneasy

Find and analyse one film or TV still image. Add the image to your blogpost.

3) Analyse the camera shot/angle in the image and what it communicates to the audience. Remember to highlight the media terminology you use.

it is at a low camera angle frame this makes them appear more dominant and dangerous. he shot is a mid shot again this shows there hole body making them come across more dominant, powerful and intimidating which is perfect as they are the villains.
